Everybody knows that there are a huge amount of 'stillness' communities around in Livejournal. We noticed that none of them were dedicated to Alice Nine and it's members, which was really a shame, since there are great iconists out there who are fans of the band :D That said: Be Welcome Alice Nine iconists/icon lovers ;D
This community will work much the same way hyde_stillness works. Every week, there will be a new challenge featuring one, or all the members of Alice Nine. The moderators will set a picture for members to work with. There can be no animations, we are sorry.
o1.No animation allowed (that's what 'stillness' stands for, you know? ^_^;;;) o2. Your entered icon cannot be seen anywhere outside of this community until the winner for that week is announced. o3. This is pretty much obvious, but just in case:You cannot vote for youself ¬.¬ o4. You must use the choosen picture. If it is not used, the icon won't be qualified for the challenge. o5. Pay attention! ONLY submit your icon to the post you are supposed to do so. o6. Voting will be done only by comments, and you cannot do them anonymously. o7. You MUST vote for the specified amount (usually three), otherwise your vote will not count. o8. Don't try playing smarty on us! Joining the community twice with 2 different screen names just to vote twice on your favorites or on yourself, is...plain stupid actually x___0. That's what IP's are for. Don't make us have to check them. o9. The icon must meet all of LiveJournal's standards for an icon: no more than 100x100, 40kb, and either .jpg, .png, or .gif format. 1o. Again with the obvious stuff: The icon you enter must be made by you.
***Any more than two violations of the same rule will result in banning. Please don't make us bann anyone. It's not pleasant nor good for the community***
Every week there will be a post specifically for submitting your icon. When posting for the challenges, all members should follow this format :
Your username (in case of multiple/graphics journals) The icon itself URL of icon
Your entry should look something like this - misao_duo
Your submissions should be left in a comment on that week's post. Comments for these posts will always be screened.
TO SUBMIT: You will have from Monday at 7 p.m. until Friday at 10 p.m. TO VOTE: You will have from Saturday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 10 p.m. Winners will be announced on Mondays. Banners will be awarded as early as possible during the week.
There will be first, second, and third places, along with one chosen by either mod in a category of Moderator's Choice.
If an icon wins due to any 'funny business'(¬.¬), the user will be banned.
